We returned Sunday from a week of pampering aboard the Emerald Princess! From embarkation to debarkation, everything was great. This was our second (of hopefully many more) with Princess and truly believe Princess is the line for us. From parking the car to entering our Lido Balcony stateroom, 25 minutes!! We were greeted by our cabin stewardess, Erika (who was great!), dropped our carry-ones and headed to Horizon Court for a bite to eat. We met people we had recently sailed with other lines that were amazed at the difference in the level of service provided by Princess. We've experienced that ourselves on another line. It is refreshing to know that Princess still regards outstanding customer service from every crew member as a top priority. We saw smiling faces and friendly greetings from every crew member we encountered, what a treat!! After all, who wants to be surrounded by a bunch of sour grapes when you're on vacation?

We got a late start due to high winds in the channel but no one minded as we watched football on deck. 2 days at sea and we reached our first port of call, Costa Maya. Beautiful weather greeted us as we docked and went ashore for a bit of sightseeing. Next port was Belize and with heavy rain and tenders to shore we decided to stay onboard and enjoy the empty ship, relaxing in the uncrowded spa:).

On deck we met Marvin, from Grenada, best F&B supervisor on board! He made the rest of our cruise the best it could be.

Mid forward location on Lido was a bit rocky but we don't mind the motion and seas were heavy! Erika was our wonderful stewardess, kept our cabin tidy and ice bucket filled. Wonderful vies from so high up, would stay again. One negative, it's time for new mattresses, hopefully next refurb will be after her time in Houston.
