I sailed with a party of 15 with an age range of 13 to 82. 4 balcony rooms on 13th floor mid aft. The ship cruise director & his staff were really fantastic. You would see them all over the ship. Great entertainment and deck parties. On the other hand, direct Customer service was downright horrid.
Cabin steward was extremely rude and non responsive to requests. He told us that he would not make up our cabin if we didn't start consistently using the "make up room" indicator located inside the cabin. With four of us in the room all coming and going at different times it was difficult for the last person in the cabin to remember to do so. We had dinner reservations at 5:30 every evening and told him that this would be the best time to prepare cabin for the night. We would still return after the dinner with the cabin not having been made up and then the steward would get miffed if we didn't vacate at his convenience so he could prepare it before the end of the shift. Repeated requests for wine glasses went unresponded to. He said 4 stemless glasses were originally made available in the cabin and since they went missing, they could not be replaced. Since when have wine glasses become a rationed commodity on a cruise!
Dined in the Tropicana all 7 nights where they were able to accomodate all 15 of us at a single table. Not sure if it was large party or the fact that we had only one server (with an occasional assistant). Food took forever to be delivered and then once delivered to the waiter station it sat unserved for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Needless to say it was served cold. Depleted bread, butter and water glasses were not replenished. Wine was not poured. We would finish each course and wait forever for the next to arrive. Twice we had to leave for a show before our dessert arrived. Birthday Cake failed to be delivered though server was presented the with the request slip. We deemed ourselves fortuneate if we were served coffee at the same time we were enjoying our dessert. We we were down right jubilant if we were actually offered a second cup!

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony
Cabin was nice. Plenty of storage...most of which went unnoticed until half way through the cruise. Read the placard that provides you with info about the room! Large bathroom with double sinks was a real treat. Balcony was very small but was adequate to sit on and enjoy a glass of wine and a book in the afternoon. Room once made up for the night (over head bunk) did become crowded making it difficult to navigate with multi people in the room.
