Our first cruise with Carnival and we are already planning a second! Jacksonville port was quick and easy, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Blount Island and had a round trip shuttle to the port. VIP check in was in a separate area and was very quick. We boarded at around 12:30 and headed straight to the bar! The ship itself was lovely and clean; we were pleasantly surprised at how new it felt. Every single crew member we encountered was friendly and helpful. We mostly ate in the Sensation dining room and was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The suite was huge and the extended balcony gave us plenty of room to stretch out and relax on the lounge chairs and enjoy the beautiful ocean views. We didn't get off the ship in Freeport, I had a Thai poultice massage and it was so relaxing. We shopped for a few hours in Nassau and got back onboard to enjoy the pool. The seas were a bit rough heading out and back into Jacksonville but it wasn't too bad. I definitely recommend the Fascination for a quick getaway. We can't wait to go again!

Cabin Review

Extended Balcony Grand Suite

Cabin ES

The room was very spacious, plenty of drawers and closet space. Bathroom was small but the bathtub/shower was a nice addition. Balcony was huge. Beds were extremely comfortable, even the convertible sofa bed was great to sleep on. We didn't hear any deck noise while in the room.
