Sail Date: Jan 2015

Although we have taken numerous cruises to a variety of ports, this was the first time for a short cruise, and we were skeptical - was it worth the effort? yes. Would we return rested or exhausted? rested.

Embarkation and everything was easy. The three night cruise is casual - no formal night, so packing was easy and we carried our luggage with us with no problem (one suitcase each).

We had anytime dining and were able to make reservations with the same waiter every night.

Cabin Review

Cabin VS

This particular suite is a bit smaller than other VS or S6 suites. Plus there is a large beam on the balcony that cramps things. We moved the chaises and two of the dining table to next to the beam. That way we had room to move around on the balcony. Even with the beam, though, we prefer the aft suites to a side one. On turnaround day we checked out the VS suites on the other decks, and the ones on the Emerald deck had the smallest balcony and room.
