Our family group went on the South Pacific cruise in January 2014 on Radiance of the Seas from Sydney.

The ship

The food and service were excellent. Lots of choice – the buffet was great, the quality and options in the main dining room excellent and the causal eating options also great. Room service was very good and quick. Have read lots of negative comments about the food but cannot understand them. Staff were excellent and cannot fault how helpful they were. Our cabin attendant (Michael) was really great and very helpful and friendly.

Cabin Review

Two Bedroom Suite

Cabin TS

We have travelled on Royal Caribbean before on a 2 bedroom cabin and this was one was disappointing. There are no windows to the bedrooms, even the main one. There is only one sliding door for natural light to the lounge area. As the cabin is at the back of the ship, the lounge area is an odd shape and not as usable as it could be. Also, the balcony is not that large and also an odd shape. The balcony wasn’t really that nice to sit in and was fairly cramped and dirty. The balcony glass was very dirty. The main bathroom was fine and reasonably spacious. The second bathroom was very small and has a very tiny shower with a plastic shower curtain which is not very hygienic and very dated. The main bedroom is very spacious but really needs natural light. The second bedroom is also very spacious and can easily accommodate 4 people (2 on bunk beds that are fine). The sofa bed in the lounge area is not very comfortable and you would struggle to sleep on it for 9 nights.Overall would not recommend this cabin unless it came at a discounted price that made it worth it. It’s also a long walk to the elevators. We booked late so had few options. Royal Caribbean was very accommodating by putting our family close by, which is why we went with this cabin. If you have sailed on other ships like the Oasis this 2 bedroom cabin on the Radiance is nothing like the quality of these other ships.
