My father-in-law (83) and I (61) took our second "old fart" cruise to the Western Carib in early November 2014.

We flew into Miami the day before and wandered around S Beach the evening before. The beach was having a 24 hour fashion show that Friday night so the strip was hopping-we had a ball wandering and mingling! We had a room overnight in S Beach one block off the strip in a funky old hotel that was trying its best to hang in there...Perfectly adequate for us.

Cabbed over to Glory next day about noon and we were thru the boarding process in 25 minutes-amazing! Every single spot at their check-in counter was manned and they had us on board lickity-split. A+ grade to Carnival!

7404 is a perfect spot if you like the aft area of the lido-two flights up and you are walking into the aft buffett-ice machine, juice and coffee right inside the door- out the back doors to the aft pool and bar. Elevator right there if you don't like the stairs. Nice balcony, quiet area. The aft area of the lido is mostly an older crowd and finding a spot in the shade was easy. The bar back here is the bomb!! Pizza and fish and chips as well as rear buffet all right there!
