Hello All, I have been Reading your reviews on the Dawn for the past 3 months. I have a very mixed review of my own I would Like to share. My Background: Mid thirty's, Wife - Mid Thirty's, Professionals. Two Young Children Ages 5 and 3, Very active & entertaining. My Wife & I travel alot, and have been on quite a few cruises, appx. 12 in the last 8 years, and my oldest daughter this is her 4th cruise. So I speak with experience.

Embarkation: After reading the comments, I expected the worst:Go to the terminal around 1:45 PM (I live in NY) Not that bad, Waited on security Line for about 20 MInutes, went thru security and breezed thru latitudes Line w/o Anyone checking my name....checked in and on the ship by 2:30PM. As soon as I walk on - the announcement is made we can check into our rooms. Big Score for us, as the kids were getting tired.

Ship/Room: Overall a nice ship, Nice public spaces, although a bit confusing at first...we quickly found our way. I did notice some wear and tear, in the Carpeting, the Bedding, and the Remote Control (LOL) scotch taped up to keep it together. Room was small but manageable, location of room was fantastic, right off the elevator, one floor down to gangway, 20 feet to the Laundry/Ironing Room.
