Embarkation was a breeze. We got there around 1:00 pm and walked right in and onboard. It was a thousand times better that the mexican cruise out of SF where we stood in the freezing cold for an hour.

The Itinerary was why we selected this cruise. We wanted to see St. Lucia and Martinique. Turns out that this was the worst part of the cruise. We normally like to get a cab and go where we want instead of being trapped on excursions.

We wanted to see some of the town of Castties in St. Lucia. When we got off the ship we were mobbed by people trying to get us to take their taxi tours. It was the worst experience we have ever had. It made the people in Mexico look timid. The people were two feet apart. As soon as you told someone no, another was right there asking again and following you. The little crafts market place wasn't any better, and we were offered ganja as well. Also they had the stoplights under construction so if you wanted across the street alive you had to tip someone to get you across. We went back to the port and were trying to decide what to do. We went to the tourism both to inquire how far some of the other places were and they sicked a cabbie on us that we couldn't shake with a cattle prod. Finally we went back aboard disgusted
