We are a retired married couple and have done 15 cruises (including this one) on 8 different cruise lines. We usually drive down to FL, so no restrictions on what we take. We just have to remember that we do the self-disembarkation and have to lug it all off by ourselves!
Stayed at the Hampton Inn Westshore in Tampa through stay123. T Free on-site parking for 7 days, free breakfast, free WI-fi, free shuttle to & from the cruise port, plus a shuttle during your stay within a 3 mile radius. Within that radius is the International Mall with tons of retail stores and several eclectic restaurants.
We had a large OV room on deck 5. Ship will be retired soon, so there is some wear, but generally in fairly good condition. The two rumors we heard - it was sold to either Singapore or Australia and would be used as a wine & dine venue.

Large Ocean-View Stateroom
We had a large OV room on deck 5. Our room felt spacious with plenty of storage. Our room was quiet. Tub wall was very tall & hard to get into - prefer a walk-in shower with a door. It was confusing to have room 602 and be on the 5th floor. The first few days I was pushing the # 6 button on the elevators.
