Traveled with children

My family (mum dad & kids 4 & 6) have just got off at Sydney after 14 day of the worst trip I cam remember.

We have cruised with other lines so this is not seen as advertisement for the other lines I won't name them, let just say I will never travel again with Royal Caribbean. We booked the Voyager given it has just undergone a much publicised $80m refurb..... All they have done is added more cabins, removed staff, and reduced the recreation areas.

I will try and keep my experience to a few key areas.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

The room itself was good, the pull out bed for the kids was one of those hard impossible to sleep on type your grandparents had in the 1970's, after asking for at least a mattress to be placed on top but all of them were already taken by other people suffering the same problem our cabin steward placed about 6 dooners under it to at least make it bearable to sleep on. The bathroom flooded every night with out fail, thankfully we were never in there at the time, we complained constantly about it but each day they sent a plumber who gave a different reason for the water feature out of our sink, or toilet or floor drain, we did have to throw out a number of cloths we had left on the floor of the bathroom one night when with out warning the toilet started filling out bathroom floor with god know what. No offer to move us or compensate in anyway. Seems to be the norm for that cabin. Each flood left a slit over our sink and floor, so we never left any of our toiletries in the bathroom, made brushing teeth and getting kids ready each day more challenging.
