This was my first cruise and I was unsure what to expect. I read the reviews on here so went with an open mind. Embarkation was a bit of a shock as there were so many people waiting to check in. I stupidly expected to walk straight on. That was the only thing though, the rest was brilliant. Our stateroom was lovely with a balcony, it was very very clean and the staff amazing. The food was brilliant and you could eat whenever you wanted in the Lido restaurant with no worry about dressing up if you didn't want to. The dress code is confusing as basically you can wear what you want so long as you are not scruffy! Even on the formal night some people were not dressed up that much. We met some lovely people who gave us plenty of tips for future cruises. You can also smoke in the Churchill Cigar and Pipe lounge but didn't discover this until our last day. It does however state that it is for cigar and pipes only but it seems that everyone in there were smokers of cigarettes. On the whole a brilliant time. Cannot wait for my next one now.

Lovely room. Shower quite small though but very nice otherwise. Clean and comfortable.
