Very Very disappointed, we will never travel on this ship again.

Where do I start...... paid £3,908 for 2 of us for a 14 day cruise. We were advised that this was a similar ship with the high standards that we experienced on the 14 day cruise last year on the Thomson Dream.

It is a very tired ship, cleanliness is a problem despite the housekeeping staff working all hours. Not worth the money we paid

NOVOVIRUS on board, we were not advised of this before we sailed or when we sailed - found out from passengers. Over 40 staff plus passengers affected. One of the serving areas was deep cleaned while we were sailing and very strong hand cleanser was offered at all eating areas.

CABIN size mis-sold - we had an ouside double!! cabin on Deck 8. It was so small that you had to climb over each other to get into the double bed, threadbare and stained mattresses and sheets, thin grey towels ( should be white), single wardrobe with small chest of drawers and safe inside so really only half a single wardrobe. Lots of black mould in the bathroom, walk in shower area also very small. No fridge. Had a safe but you had to pay £25 for that. Tea and coffee making facilities a plus.

FOOD - in upper self service areas it was luke warm. Poor choice on menus in the main restaurants. Went to the paying restaurant ( Le Bistro) £19.50 each for a 5 course meal - could not fault that

STAFF - there are some friendly staff but they were few and far between. Waiting staff obviously not happy, bad attitudes and poorly trained and over- worked, even saw some in tears.

DRINKS PACKAGE - did not include bottled water, had to pay £1.90 a bottle as tap water not safe to drink

ENTERTAINMENT - cant fault this, just it was on a one week cycle, everything repeated on 2nd week. Liked the different areas on the ship which provided different types of entertainment and piano bars

SHORE EXCURSIONS - reasonable choices and costs

FLIGHTS - 5 hour delay on the outward journey, 1 hour on the return journey

This review will not be a surprise to Thomson as we will be writing to them too
