I surprised my husband with a 5 night cruise for his 50th birthday. I attempted to pay for everything prior to boarding, so we could enjoy ourselves not dreading the final bill. Boarding and disembarking was a breeze...we signed up for the early disembarkment, which simply means you bring your own luggage off of the ship.

Pros:

1. We attended the evening shows and enjoyed them. We sat way up on the top level of the theatre, in case we wanted to make an exit. This was nice because we could watch a little and then go without disrupting others.

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

The location was great, right by the elevators. Our steward, Doctor Livingston, was nice and the room was always tidied up for us. There was an issue a few doors down the hallway, where it smelled of a septic problem and the carpets were constantly cleaned and fans were blowing....the problem/smell needs some attention, although they tried to keep it tolerable.
