Well, we did sail about 2 kilometers up the Seine, one night. The advertised cruise in the other direction to Notre Dame was cancelled at the last minute!!

The ship was fine, anchored near the Tour Eiffel. The 2 tours were excellent; a coach trip round the major sites and the following morning a walk through Montmatre. We had the same knowledgeable guide on both days. He was superb.

BUT the meals were 'limited'. After a freezing tour all we wanted / needed was hot soup. The lunch offering was a cold starter. I accept they did provide one bowl of soup but a little forward thinking might have avoided us needing to make a special request. Read more
