- Our first cruise with Celebrity. Travelling on the Solstice.

My husband and I had had such an awful time on our honeymoon with P&O, that we listened to our travel agent and booked a re-do honeymoon with Celebrity (based on the advice of friends and the odd strangers we discussed cruise lines with). We decided on a Celebrity Suite, and added premium beverage packages.

- The website always seemed to have issues, and on phoning the toll free number to the call centre (located in the USA I believe) we found that we couldn't be logged on at the same time as the phone consultant as only one person can be logged into the account at a time. We booked our cruise with the website, then had our travel agent beat the price (by almost $2000!)

Very spacey room. The balcony was a highlight as its a little larger in this room than others on our deck. The bedroom offers no view of the ocean due to a clouded panel in the dividing wall. The drawers are difficult to open while the closet door is open. The bathroom and amenities are exactly as described in the brochure. The lounge area is spacious and offers a great view of the ocean when the balcony gets a little chilly.
