My husband and I celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary with an Alaskan Cruise. We have cruised with Norwegian in Hawaii and Bahamas; Disney to the Bahamas; and Carnival to Canada. We did the Vancouver Round Trip Cruise to Alaska on the Sun. We arrived a day early and stayed at the Delta Vancouver Suite as I found a special online at Booking.com. The hotel was wonderful.

We were within walking distance to the port and arrived around 11am. We were on the ship by 12:30pm and went to the Garden Cafe for lunch. We found a table outside in the Great Outdoors Cafe and enjoyed the beautiful scenery while we ate.

Our cabin was ready around 1pm and we headed there to check it out. We met our cabin steward, Eduardo, who was extremely friendly and helpful during the cruise. The room was an adequate size for 2 people plus the balcony. We then went to get the layout of the ship, exploring the different areas and restaurants. We had dinner in the Seven Seas. The food was terrific and the service was great. We probably ate most of our dinners at the Seven Seas. We went to a Entertainment Preview in the Stardust Lounge. This Lounge was the smallest lounge we have been in on a Norwegian ship.
