Although we loved the destination, I would never go with NCL again. EVER! One word to describe the staff? RUDE. The bar staff was rude rude rude rude rude. The buffet was lackluster and wasn't open except during typical dining hours. This is atypical of other cruises we have been on. Plus, no variety of food. The food at the buffet was the food you got in the dining room. No difference. The only time you got variety was if you went to a specialty restaurant which, of course, cost an arm and a leg. I have never been treated so poorly. The embarkation procedure was horrible. In fact, they screwed it up so bad I couldn't get into my room. Guest services didn't even try to fix it and sent a security guard up to the room to try and help me. He was nice but then had to rekey the door and get me a new key. No one had any accountability and didn't seem to care that I had to wait hours to get resolution. One night in the wine bar it took me 10 minutes to get a glass of wine. It took me another 15 minutes and asking 3 separate times to get a glass of water. By the way, when they gave you water (anywhere you went), you never got ice in it. Only lukewarm water in a dirty glass. The destination was wonderful but the staff made it a losing proposition for us.
