Just had a cruise if that's what you can call it. Where do I start, getting on board no meet and greet just marched of to our cabin, luggage came over an hour later, the cabin was dirty we needed a shower after our flight my wife had to clean the mould in the shower room. Next went on deck for a coffee and was told that the ship had had Nora virus the week previous we should have been told this before we left England or before we got on board by a Thompson rep. We went for our dinner because we were late on board what was left of the food was only just warm no idea how long it been there. Lets go to the food not self service it was slapped on your plate most of it was warm and inedible the only decent meal we had was New Years Eve the restaurants on deck 5 could not cope with the amount of people on board for example over an hour for breakfast service. Had turkey one night it was raw my wife had chicken could have used it as shoe leather. The staff tried their best but it did not work. The only good part of our holiday was the entertainment in the Jubilee Lounge and of coarse the firework display in Madeira. We have used Thomson First Choice for years and am now thinking about changing if that's the service you get.
Asked for a cabin with a view yes we had a view of lifeboats
