We are in our 40's and been on a handful of RC cruises. This was our first cruise with our kids and parents and first on Carnival. This trip exceeded our expectations! The ship was clean and felt very updated and Modern. Our favorate things included: Dr. E, cruise director was incredibly talented, great entertainer at all times of the day. We hope he is there next year and doesn't get swept up by Hollywood, seriously... fun to watch movies outside on the deck on the big screen, craft cocktails at Alchemy bar, Mexican at Blue Iguana, great burgers at Guys, hilarious comedy at the kid friendly and adult shows, awesome New Years party on the upper deck, great bands. Low points were very small: slow service at pizza place, one of our rooms was extremely noisy, avoid 6th floor in the middle. Itinerary was great, loved Grand Turk catamaran snorkle excursion.
