Just off Carnival Sunshine where we celebrated a new year with Son and family. I am always comparing Carnival and Royal Caribbean as we sail on both. I will list topics as I review Sunshine.

Embarkation -Arrived around 1 and on ship in 30 minutes.

Stateroom - 2 with balcony near front of ship Port side.My husband and I in 1 room with small love seat that would make a small bed. My son and his wife had bunk beds for their 9 and 12 year old. Adequate storage but narrow space between bed and shelves in both staterooms. Long shower with curtain. We had 3 problems with toilet but service came soon to fix. A problem getting through on phone at 11:30 New Year's Eve but finally successful.Plumbing was right outside our room so they fixed it in hall each time.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8A

Adequate for family of 4. Expensive week so that is why we booked balcony stateroom Usually book jr suite.
