I had a wonderful time as a solo traveler on this ship. There were plenty of activities to keep me busy when I wanted it and was very relaxing with 7 days at sea. The ship is elegant with shows going on most of the time in the centrum. The shows in the main showroom were very good. The food was very good most nights .though not excellent. I liked that they had a "classics" section on the menu so if the main menu didn't entice you, there was always a popular choice to choose from. I chose escargot and shrimp for starters most nights. I must say though the steak was tough. The service was excellent. They offered a lunch for cruise critic members which I was allowed to attend even though I had not learned of cruise critic until this cruise as my solo lunch buddies were all going. It was lovely. They had their own menu and was served with red and white wine.

I am currently booked on the Brilliance for a five night sailing in November 2015 to Grand Cayman and Cozumel as well as a seven night on the Independence of the Seas in Sept 2012.(western Caribbean)/

I wasn't crazy about St Kitts and St Lucia as ports. The shore excursing in St kitts was not good. It was a snorkeling trip on a catamaran. They took us to a area where all the reef was dead thus no fish. Just as we were being called back to the boat I discovered a patch with some life reef and a few fish. I complained to RCCL and was given a bit of a refund (not satisfactory) They said no one else complained( probably because it was a booze cruise. and they all came back drunk and happy.. I am not a drinker but am a serious snorkeler.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

I had a large inside stateroom which was very comfortable.
