Sail Date: Dec 2014

This was our second cruise. The first , in July 2014, was on Fred Olsen and was superb. Because of this we were hooked on cruising and booked the Thomson cruise with an additional weeks stay in Tenerife. The prices were comparable, but this was the only similarity,.In both cases we booked an outside cabin and paid for all inclusive.

1, Accomodation. The Thomson cabin was at least one third smaller than Olsen. We had to coordinate our movements to avoid bumping in to each other,Storage space was very limited, There was no fridge, and a £10.00 charge for the safe, free on Olsen

2. Food Can best be described as mediocre, Food sent back twice as unacceptable. Olsen provided steak, Lobster. Lamb shank, Beef wellington etc as standard.and offered a greater ,better quality throughout the ship Thomson charged £9.95 extra for a steak!

Cabin Review

Cabin Standard outside

As stated, far too small and poorly equipped
