It a week or so to decide to kick an old friend in the teeth. However, thats how we felt after quickly realizing this was not going to be the cruise we'd been looking forward to for months.

Getting on the ship was very easy as usual in Miami. Celebrity really does a great job getting you situated in your new environment. The ship was in great shape. Since we are Elite with Celebrity, we are very familiar with the program and had a high level of expectation...WHAT HAPPENED to our favorite cruise line??

The dining room was a total diaster...raw steaks, cold food, missing sides and they ran out of some main dishes. Food quality was marginal and sevice stretched. We finally gave up and spent the second week eating in the buffet which was very good. Spending 1.5 hours each evening feeling sorry and being sorry was NOT what we expected. With Celebrity's new desire to have EVERYONE on a beverage package, wine service is impossible. Hundreds of people ordering cheap wine by the glass could have you waiting 20-30 minutes.
