10 day cruise to Princess Cay, St. Thomas, Dominica, Grenada, and Aruba. Great itinerary and weather was calm. Price was cheap for a Christmas cruise. Tons of kids on board exacerbated by Princess letting kids as young as 7 sign themselves in and out of the childrens program. Food in the Concerto Dining Room was so-so. Buffet was good to fair. Pizza excellent as was cafe on 5th floor. While quality might be not what you are used to - there was plenty of food.

Entertainment middling to poor. A lot of people on board with colds and flu - no wonder since buffet users mainly ignore the washing stations at the entrances and were not reminded by staff. Kids touching everything did not help the situation. Princess cleanliness only fair - rarely saw anyone cleaning up common areas.

Embarking and disembarking was a breeze. Obviously this ship was designed to pack in as many people as possible but it did not seem overly crowded. No promenade deck and a tiny walking oval instead. Fitness room always crowded.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Cabin was well designed but seemed slimmed down. Balcony just big enough for two. Toilet worked well, drains were slow, shower flow low. Single steward handled toilet and room - Princess should note that this is a disease vector. Walls thing like a cheap motel - be ready to listen to your neighbor's TV.
