This was my third cruise and my first cruise with Carnival. I had sailed with RC the previous times. I am going to keep my remarks brief as people can quickly determine whether or not these reviews are helpful to them or just gripe sessions for unhappy quests.

Cruise was to Progresso and Cozumel during Christmas 2014 - I was happy with 60% of the cruise and unhappy about 40%

Embarkation - Very smooth. We were able to get on the ship a bit early and they had the buffet up and ready!

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6C

We complained that our cabin lighting would not come on or would shut off randomly but this was never fixed during our cruise. I only took 1 warm shower in my room. All others were luke warm or cold. The speed dial did not work on my phone so unless I could find the extension of the place I was calling, I couldn't use my room phone. The water in the sink ran continuously and was very difficult to shut off. We paid an increased amount for an ocean view but the windows were so dirty that it always looked foggy. I usually love taking pictures from my ocean view rooms but the dirty window prevented this. I like the size of the room and the storage compared to RC. The extra mirrors gave the room a "bigger" feel. There was often a smell of sewage on my floor. Obviously the officers knew of this because you'd smell a lot of room freshener at different points of the day. Friendly room attendants. We had a towel animal every night when they turned down the beds.
