The first impression upon walking through the corridors was the smell of perspiration; then the second is the smell of perspiration in our room. Then the strong smell of perspiration on our pillows. We asked for new ones, and were given four "new" ones that still smelled awful. I asked our steward to please get us new ones, from a new sealed package. This seemed to do the trick, but then they changed the pillows several times during our 11-day trip, and we got the sweaty smelly ones again. I realize they have a short time to clean the rooms before the next group of travellers get on board, but the ship rugs, upholstery, and mattresses need a good cleaning and the pillows need to be replaced with new ones. It really ruined our trip.

The food in the two main dining rooms was good and staff was wonderfully pleasant and couldn't do enough for you. The dining room that had the buffet style dining was a mad-house, and we didn't eat there again. The food at the buffet was good, and plenty of variety, but it was so crowded that they kept running out of silverware and coffee.

Shows were awful in the beginning of the cruise, (we actually got up and left, as did others), but got better as cruise went along. We were on the cruise for Christmas week and were disappointed with the decorating. A little more effort would have been appreciated.
