Sail Date: Dec 2014

Went on a "test drive" with Crystal after hearing positive things from acquaintances that sail repeatedly with them. We are long time Silversea and Seabourn loyalists, more so Seabourn nowadays.

The itinerary from Jakarta to Singapore was not captivating but the length of cruise was appropriate as it was a first time try out for us.

Embarkation was a bit of a horror show. Not once we got to the ship, but leading up to it. The port area around Tanjung Priok was industrial, chaotic and hard for the taxis to find in terms of location of the piers. Taxis could not drive up to the ship and we were dumped in some corner and had to climb onto a rickety van for the final meters to the ship (not visible to us at that time). No Crystal representative were there to reassure us that we were "on the right track".
