Boarding was fast and efficient and we were on the ship in no time. Our first lunch in the Windjammer was delicious and varied. Many people say they prefer the buffet on Radiance to Voyager however, I feel that it was hard to find things on Radiance and I spent a lot of time walking around looking for foods I wanted to eat.

Our cabin, JS 1076 was well appointed and in a great location. It was midship past the stairs and elevators and was whisper quiet, in fact we didn't once hear any noise above us, or even out in the corridors. Perfect! The cabin provided plenty of room for 3, however, the sofa bed which was supposed to sleep 2 was a bit of a joke in that it only pulled out enough to produce a square sleeping area. My son is not tall, only about 5.5, but he needed to sleep diagonally so that his feet didn't hang off. It would be impossible for 2 people above 10 or 12 years to sleep comfortably on this sofa bed.

The ship itself is looking a little tired in places and wasn't the beautiful ship I was expecting. Everyone said I'd like it far better than Voyager but I definitely didn't. I found Voyager, although bigger, much easier to get around as it was a more logical layout. I did love the openness and glass everywhere, but the Centrum was far too small for big events.
