My wife and I just took a seven day Christmas cruise on the Carnival Glory. We have been on several cruises over the last year and a half and this was definitely our favorite. The staff was extremely friendly, especially Maryia at the Creams Cafe, Brian and Alex at the Alchemy Bar and Ruben making breakfast burritos at the Blue Iguana Cantina. The drinks at the Alchemy Bar were amazing! Alex and Brian make fantastic drinks using clever recipes and fresh ingredients. Although I am a vegetarian, the steakhouse was excellent. The food and the atmosphere were both really good. The food in the dining room was okay, but we understand that it is mass produced so we were not disappointed. We had an ocean view on deck one and it was spacious and always clean. The embarkation and debarkation processes were very smooth in Miami. I was also impressed by the holiday season atmosphere. I am Jewish and My wife is Christian and I thought the cruise had a perfect blend of holiday spirit without being overbearing. We were pleased that Carnival offered a Christmas service and also had a menorah lighting and even latkas.
