After cruising Norwegian star in 2013 and celebrity reflection in 2014. I guess our expectations might have been to high, but the price difference wasn't enough of a break to warrant the lower level of service and overall quality of the cruise. First off there were no glaring disappointments with this cruise. I was disappointed to find out there were no dining options like the other two cruise lines. The crew morale was low and the service was not great or even good in some instances. I even had our gratuities removed from our bill and opted to tip the few workers that bothered to make eye contact and smile with cash.
Our room was clean and had no bad smells but lacked any kind of frills or style. The tv was much to small for the room.
Both embarkation and debarkation were a pleasure. We were on the ship in 20 mins and off in 15. The cruise director seemed to enjoy his job and the singers and dancers were good in the 80 s show. But the rest of the entertainment was subpar.
