Having cruised on carnival , msc and windstar, I have to say this is the most disappointing cruise we have been on. There is no wow factor on this ship. The atrium is small and boring - looks like a hotel lobby. All other ships we've been on have a real wow about them but not this one. It is confusing to get around. It has taken us 2 weeks to just about find places as the signs are virtually non-existent. Heaven help you if you need a loo in a hurry.

The cabins are small in comparison to other cruise lines and the pool towels are threadbare and thin, though you can have as many as you want.

The ship isn't particulalry clean in the communal areas. As I write this I have just passed a chip that has been on the stairs on deck 12 for 3 days. So no one has bothered to pick it up nor has the carpet been hoovered! Other than staff wiping handrails (due to novo virus outbreak ) I didn't see anyone hoovering or cleaning anything else. The table pedestals in the buffet were filthy. As there was an outbreak we had to be served our food in the buffet and it took forever. Not that the food was so worth waiting for. Comparing to carnival it was like a works canteen. The food was boring, not nicely presented and the mixtures of food were baffling. It was ok If you liked curry every day. There was clearly an Indian influence at work. The Verona Italian was the best meal. With a cover charge of £5 each and a fillet steak on a hot rock for just under £3 it was very good. We did not try the other speciality restaurants as they were very expensive (around £30 each) and from what people said pricey for what you got.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin JC

Cabin has a small balcony side aft on ship so you can see all the way down the ship - wouldn't have one like that again. No sofa or batthrobes!
