We have been on many cruises and we found this particular staff so exceptional that we must comment. There are often strong and weak links in a cruise staff. Activities may be strong or weak. Service may be exceptional or mediocre. There are often very good people on board and a few 'clunkers'. But, for the first time we found solid strength from food service, activities staff, professional entertainers, ship's entertainers and ship staff. The cruise director was superb as was the activities manager. Every staff member we encountered bent over backward to accommodate our every desire. It made this the best overall cruise experience we have had.
Celebrity claims to send passengers evaluation forms after a cruise. If they do this, it has missed us on the last few cruises we have taken. They should offer their passengers the choice to complete an evaluation on line or at the end of the cruise.
We have noticed that the ship's food has become a bit 'lackluster'. They employ fancy names and ingredients in their dishes but the names of the dishes are often just shadows of the product delivered. Those who have sampled those dishes in reality will question whether the name fits the dish. Quality is generally good, but it has been better in the past. The exception is Quizine, one of the specialty restaurants aboard Celebrity. You are missing a lot if you don't experience this restaurant at least once (twice or three times if you want to try a variety of the wonderful dishes they prepare).
well maintained and clean. a lot of attention to detail and when we mentioned that we liked the towel animals that had been common on cruises a while ago we found a "menagerie" of animals growing each night. mid-ship and low in the ship so little difficult ship motion. It always looks like there is minimal space but we don't travel light and we had plenty of room for everything. Within on deck of both theater on one end and night club and dining room at the other end so little need to contend with elevator crowds.
