I always take my son on a cruise every December, this is the first time I have been extremely disappointed. At check in I was informed we had your time dining instead of the early confirmed dining which we prefer and was told we should be happy with what we got. Our cabin steward kept our cabin clean yet continually threw out ads and papers we were trying to save. The food in the buffet, Guy's, blue iguana, and main dining room were ok. But we couldn't get lunch in JIJI's because it was always too crowded, capitan del cucino was not very good and the selections were confusing and took too long to arrive. On a good note, the pay for dinner at JIJI's Asian diner was the best Chinese dinner we have ever had. Food service through out the ship was less than ok with the exception of our head waiter Ana.

The ship was not the cleanest we have ever seen. glasses and dishes left around the ship and only picked up if they were left on a table. The new deck layout made finding a table to eat at very difficult. Having an after dinner cigar was a crappy experience since the only place to have a cigar was outside on deck 10 under the big screen TV where it was extremely windy with only a dozen or so places to sit down. I bought my son bottomless bubbles so he could have as many sodas as he wanted and was still charged for sodas in the main dining room even after he showed his card. When I challenged the charges I was rudely told by guest services that the soda program didn't apply in the dining room unless bar services took the order. Bar service in the casino took forever if you could manage to find a waitperson. Also, the casino management staff spent more time catering to the ultra premium players and did very little to acknowledge the regular every day players, including keeping an eye on players ratings. As for the new deck layouts, the ship was as easy to navigate as a corn maze. You also can't keep tabs on your sail and sign account from your stateroom since there is no data connection to the cabins. Overall this was the worst cruise we have ever been on, we won't sail this ship again. You can put paint on a pig, but it is still a pig and should be retired.

Cabin Review

Interior Upper/Lower

Cabin 1A

Cabin Size ok, my son (23) liked the pull down bunk, port holes came for free. But when you sit on the toilet you right foot is in the shower. A nice size shower but the water temp continued to constantly vary.
