We had sailed the Magic before in January, and enjoyed the cruise overall so when friends said they were sailing again, we decided to join them. Unfortunately our experience was not the same as previously. The service levels and food quaility were inconsistent. First time in our crusing experience that we had a meal that was inedible. But that probably shouldn't have been a surprise, with over 3000 passengers to be taken care of.
There were some exceptions of course. The Mongolian Barbeque was excellent, if you didn't mind a 45min wait. Carlos, Katherine and Miladen provided excellent service in the Northern Lights for "your time" dining. Of course, once you experienced it, you never could get back to their tables as everyone requested them. The Tides Aft Bar crew of Ruther, Herando, and Raj in patrticular were outstanding in providing friendly, quality service. The servers in the Comedy Club also remembered who we were and what we drank.
WiFi service inadequate, but guest services did quickly refund our purchase.
Plenty of storage room, no ice service, satisfactory cabin crew service. The balcony was unuable the first few days because it was dirty, but once cleaning was allowed in Freeport, we could go out and enjoy it.
