This cruise was the WORST! There are no amenities on this ship, no activities on this ship and this ship is too restrictive. This cruise has 2 days at sea both days were a snooze fest. The activities consisted of vitality seminars--SEMINARS. The shows in the evening were so-so at best and they either started really early or really late. This ship is so restrictive. There is a soft serve ice cream machine ( chocolate- sometimes and vanilla- every day) located in the back of the Windjammer( buffet), but its only available certain times of the day and NEVER at night. I complained along with other guest about how ridiculous that was--we are on vacation let us have ice cream until we explode. However, nothing but apologies were offered.

The Windjammer was closed during peak times so you could not get any food or ice cream. I was hungry nearly everyday on the ship. I feel like I lost 10 pounds. Our room steward was awful to say the least. He just made up the bed and gave us new towels nothing else. Even though we had trash in the room he never took it away. If we wanted something thrown away we had to place it in the hallway or expressly in the trash can. We had to complain to even get that much done and to get ice for our cabin was like pulling teeth. We requested wine glasses never got any.

My husband and I went on this cruise alone. This is our second time on RC and we were extremely disappointed. We spoke to some young adults/youths on the ship and they were bored the entire time. This is not a ship for teens, or younger to middle aged adults. You will be bored out of your mind. If you are traveling with kids beware the water slide is often closed and if you purchase the soda package the kids will have to go to the bar to get the cups refilled. There are no free stand drink machines where they can refill the drinks themselves. There are no specialty shops like bakeries, candy shops or ice cream shops. There are several specialty dinning options. We dinned at Giovanni's; the food was just okay. It was worth the $20 per person but nothing more. We had margaritas at Rita's Catina several nights; the margaritas were good but the food was not. I would not recommend this particular to cruise to anyone who wants to have fun. If you want to just sleep and eat sometimes then I say book now. If you don't want to go stir crazy book another ship.
