Just back from Eastern and Western Caribbean with wife and another couple. November 29 and Dec 6. Reason for this our 26th and 27th cruise was the ship. Have cruised RCCL some 4 times and Celebrity 10, plus a smattering of other lines. We always say 'never a bad cruise', however this one would rank among the least of our favorites. If you like crowds and long lines, this is the ship for you. The ship itself is truly an engineering marvel with many innovations and many activities to keep you entertained. Two full columns of daytime entertainment plus a separate listing for evening things to do. But there were lines and crowds everywhere. From Customer Service to main dinning the lines sometimes extended 8 to 10 deep and in the case of dinning, through the waiting area outside the dinning room past the elevators.

The food was in keeping with RCCL tradition, always many choices, reasonable quantity and very good quality. Service by various restaurant wait staff and cabin attendants was outstanding.

RCCL has removed the fresh toaster stations from all venues which is viewed by this writer as a mistake. It was impossible to find toast that was not cold and hard. Even the waffles and pancakes in the Windjammer were cold, hard, and not fit to eat. There were no fresh cooked egg or omelet stations either.
