My hubby and I love to cruise. This was our 21st cruise. We have sailed with RC before, but always on the smaller ships. Our other experiences were all good. However, if you are a couple our age (early 60s) this cruise is NOT for you. It was Thanksgiving week and there were many families on board, thus many children. In all honesty, most of the children were well behaved, but we were applauded at children age 6 and up who were allowed to roam freely by themselves until 1:00 AM!!!.

This was out first very large ship cruise and probably our last. We flew down the day of the cruise from Atlanta and caught the RC shuttle. They handled all luggage for us. Embarkation went smoothly, and even thou very crowded we were able to find a table. To me, the food was regular cruise food. It was good and some better from many restaurants we frequently visit. However, we have always liked Anytime Dining where we often meet other couples(some we even hang out with during the cruise). I was told that there were no tables for Anytime Diners--They were all reserved for families---Since we are retired and eat all meals together, this was a bomber. We ended up eating all of our meals, just us two. Two nights we had terrible service(I think they forgot us) and then asked to be seated elsewhere. We were assigned Darko Velesky and Cassy and sat at the same table the other nights. They were the best waiters we have ever had. Only took about an hour to eat.

The ice rink show ---we missed because I did not know that tickets were only given out on the first day of the cruise between 8:00AM-9:30AM. I was not even up!!
