We booked this as a surprise birthday present for my husband, who had no idea we were even going away... The whole trip was a wonderful, unforgettably happy experience.

We can't speak too highly of the 'Rinda' and the whole crew: George perhaps has to be singled out for his unflappable ability to move 100+ people to coaches and alternative tours, without losing anyone, and without ever losing his cool, funny, good-natured skills...but our Chef was a marvel, too.

The food was absolutely excellent - 5-star meals appeared from a tiny, and immaculate, kitchen [we were even given a tour of the cook's galley], the entertainments were great fun, with local music some nights, on board - and other nights, terrific trips to e.g. a beautiful concert in Vienna, where a 1730s Stradivarius was played, coupled with Ballet and Opera excerpts.

Cabin Review

Very comfortable, quiet, and wonderful views out of the window at the river flowing rapidly past us. A well-planned shower-room, plenty of storage space, and everything kept immaculate by the cabin girls. It was entirely quiet, which added to the feeling of pleasure at all we could see - travelling through wonderful scenery, rising surprisingly speedily inside the locks. There is a large tv screen on which to watch programmes, or find out more about the sights and history; very well-done.
