This was our 17th cruise and 12th with Carnival. First time on the Valor. Found the whole process exemplary from check in to disembarkation. The valor's public areas and cabins appeared in excellent shape for its age. It appeared well maintained and cleaned.

Our cabin was maintained professionally despite the cut in housekeeping personnel. Stewards used to have 2 assistants and now only one so some amenities are on an as requested basis such as ice in the rooms. We rarely if ever used the ice that was there so it was a non issue. Our steward was more than ready to get us a bucket of ice anytime.

This was our first cruise over a holiday period ever. I guess I expected something a little more than just having Turkey on menu for Thursday but not sure what it would have been. Overall excellent service, facilities, food, and entertainment.

Very nice. Well maintained and noise free. Like usual when guests were talking loud outside in hallways or kids running up and down it was heard but that was infrequent and expected. No "Ship machinery" or service noise.
