We are Diamond level, but this was our first time on Freedom of the Seas. We were on a B2B - one week western [Cozumel, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Labadee] and one week eastern [CocoCay, St. Maarten, St. Thomas]. Well, that was supposed to be the itinerary, but it didn't exactly work out that way!

Embarkation Week 1 - smoooooth. From the time we got off the van to the time we boarded was maybe 15 minutes. Of course we had a couple of hours to wait for the rooms to be opened, but we grabbed lunch on the Promenade and wandered around a bit until we could dump our carry on luggage. Our checked bags arrived around 5:30 and we were good to go.

Dining: We were planning to try My Time Dining the first week and that is where we hit the first snag. When I requested to share a table, we were told it would not be possible because it was Thanksgiving week and all the large tables were being used by families. Not good. We switched the next day to Main seating and ended up at a table we all referred to as the rejects table! All of us had changed dining/table for one reason or another, but it all worked out well and we had a good time. So, if you want to share a table at My Time, make sure it isn't a holiday week! The second week we had traditional dining because we were part of a group, so it was not an issue. Both weeks we had excellent waiters - Amit and Rowel.

Junior Suite

We had a hump junior suite. This was nice!! Large walk-in closet; balcony with lounger and two chairs; a very comfy chair and ottoman as well as the couch. We will definitely book this again!
