We are frequent cruisers and this year we thoroughly enjoyed:
1. 13 nIght. New Years Eve cruise to Fiji & the Pacific Islands.
2. 8 nIght.Syd.. round trip Queensland cruise in Jan.
3. 12 nIght.Auckland - Syd.cruise in Feb.followed by,
4. 19 nIght. Syd. - Singapore.via Western Aus.
5. 14 nIght. Tokyo - Vancouver, cruise in May.followed by.
6. 7 nIght. Vancouver - Seward.
It was our intention to stay home for the remainder of this year, but we found the temptation to cruise on the Voyager of the Seas from Singapore to Sydney somewhat irresistible.
We arrived at the Cruise Terminal by Taxi, just after Noon and within seconds we were relieved of our bags.Having Diamond Satus with RCCL, our expectation was to be on board within about thirty mins.Unfortunately, there was a serious delay in boarding, apparently due to passengers from the previous cruise refusing to disembark! The Terminal was crowded with many unhappy passengers, some without seats.
However after notifying an RCCL Officer, that my husband suffered from Type 1 Diabetes, we, together with another couple in the same situation, were escorted on board, as soon as the, "all clear to board" was announced.
Once on board, we found the Park Cafe on level five and enjoyed lovely lunch. Then we went in search of our Stateroom on level nine (9263) an inside with a virtual balcony! It by far exceeded our expectations, giving us the feeling we had a window.
For the next thirteen days we felt completely relaxed, while enjoying the services of a wonderful crew, company of lots of other happy cruisers, the diverse food options and the amenities offered on the Voyager of the Seas.
We certainly will have no hesitation in booking another cruise on Voyager of the Seas.
Excellent cabn, good location, very quiet, with a wonderful cabin steward.
