The room and wait staff were excellent as always. I was on this ship when it was the latest and greatest. Unfortunately not so much anymore. The balcony was in need of paint....rust showing, carpet worn, cabinets so-so. It is going in for an update, so RCCL is addressing the situation. The price was great, so no real complaints. Production shows were good, ice show great, Trivia OK when you could understand the host. Food was OK but not like it was years ago. I think they are trying to save some $ as are we all. Did an 18 day Australian cruise in Oct. and could not believe there was NO lobster night. Portofinos was good but doesn't compare to Chops. Got the bill screwed up and had to address that issue several times before it was fixed.

Am diamond plus with RCCL so cruise a good bit. I think I am hooked on the Freedom class and up. Lots to do, relatively new, and have no issue with the entertainment. I do think that an automatic tip is not beneficial to the consumer. Can't complain about the service, but probably won't be long before things slide as the crew gets used to having the same tip all the time regardless of service. Kinda like handing over the $ myself to waiter, etc.
