I traveled on the Regent Seven Seas Navigator as a family of 6. Two out of the six were first time cruisers, and I was one of the two.

We were all extremely spoiled by the whole experience and very pleased overall.

The food on the ship was always top notch and cooked to your liking. If there was anything you did not like for any reason, or if something was not cooked the way you like it, simply bring it to their attention politely and it was all quickly taken care of. The service in all of the restaurants was very attentive and the waiters all had special personalities. Seeing as how it is a small ship you often dine with the same waiters and staff so you get to know them a bit. Although they are there to "serve" you, treating them with a little respect goes a long way. We saw a few couples being a bite rude to them, but at the end of the day what goes around comes around. Prime 7 was absolutely worth the reservation as all the dishes were fantastic.

We loved the size of our cabin. Very large and well appointment. Everything was in top shape and working condition, however the room could use a bit of a modernization in the colors and bed linens. The pillow was also very very soft, but it was my fault for never asking to change it for something a bit more firm.
