The start and end of the cruise were the worst of it with some middle disappointments along the way. Arriving: no porters helping upon arrival due to a strike of some sort. The few workers we saw avoided passengers. Totally disorganized. With this being our 5th cruise with Norwegian, we are latitude members at silver level. The NCL employee put us in the long line instead of the priority boarding. I pointed out our latitude status and she said "I cany see without my glasses." Almost everyone boarding the ship had their luggage with them due to the lack of help. We had to drop our luggage off at a restaurant after we boarded.

Casino bar was very short staffed. Very little wait staff. Had to wait at the bar for your own drinks. Usually only 2 people behind the bar except for the last 2 nights. Moderno was mediocre but service was superb especially Rocky. The main restaurants: Aqua was slow and servers not friendly or attentive. Versailles was great food, service(attentive) and much better atmosphere. Cagneys was wonderful for breakfast and lunch if you get the invite. Shirley was wonderful. Shows: husband and wife acrobatic show was the best of the week. The others were okay. I enjoyed the new releases movies in the room for evening time.

Ports: Cabo- walked to Cabo Wabo Cantina for lunch. Nice. Did the Sunset sail excursion thru NCL. GREAT! Open bar. Sailing. Wonderful snack. Raul was awesome. Mazatlan: thru NCL sight seeing, show and shopping. Air conditioned bus. Went to a nice church. Mexican show and shopping / restaurant. Saw cliff divers. Nice time. In Puero Vallarta- booked an ATV tour thru Estigo (trip advisor find) best part of the trip. Lasted almost 6 hrs from 9-almost 3. Never rushed. Used the spa for thermal treatments...nice. Read more
