Have just arrived back from our cruise on the NCL Star and have no complaints of any kind. We started out on the 16th of Nov. and after almost 13hrs in the airport or in the air we arrived in Miami. We had a coach waiting to take us to our overnight hotel which was the Sofitel and that was very nice. Check in at MIami docks was a little time consuming and was getting hotter by the minute but once we went through our customery security checks we went straight to our cabin which was on deck 5 outside and everything we needed, with a good size toilet/shower. Cabin was spotless. We had lunch in Market Cafe which was busy to be expected. We sailed about an hour late but never really thought about that we where on our way.

All the stops we made where amazing but did not book trips.we tend to go on our own,and normally meet up with fellow cruisers so do the local things. Acapulco was fantastic you just have to see the divers. The highlight had to be the Panama Canal OUTSTANDING and worth being on deck at 4.30 am with hot coffee and tea as well as fruit supplied by NCL. We ate mostly in AQUA and Versalies resturants and the food was good I like my steaks or meats very well done so I had a wee problem trying to get this done but no hardship. Our favourite bar was the Red Lion and Gatspy's Thank you to all the staff in both. All in all a fantastic cruise the Star is the smallest ship we have sailed on but you would not have known that. Would we do NCL again YES we will. All to soon back to Los Angeles for a great day trip to see the sights as our flight was not till 9pm and then back to the UK. Met some great people and have some magic memories.
