This was our second Allure of the Seas cruise in the last 12 months. First as a Diamond Member. Our cruise left on November 23rd and was a US Thanksgiving cruise. Word of caution: anyone planning a cruise in the future, there were many multi-generational families with children of all ages. If you rather cruise with less children you may want to stay away from cruising during US Thanksgiving.
I rather enjoyed the 3 Drink per Diamond passenger happy hour at any bar. I made sure to tip the servers for their hard work. If you enjoy people watching, the Bow and Stern Pub is great, service is fantastic. Embarkation was quick and efficient, disembarkation was same. Decided on this cruise to stay away from the dining room. Reserved 4 speciality restaurants instead and went to the Windjammer the other nights. The only restaurant that disappointed us was Samba. We seemed rushed and unappreciated. Giovani's, Izumi, and Chops were great. Saved the best for last (Chops).
No issues whatsoever cabin, Stateroom Attendant (Idham Effendi) was the best we've had since we started cruising.
