We went on the West Coast Sampler over Thanksgiving weekend. The stops were Santa Barbara (nice) and Ensenada. We were disappointed and will not use Princess again. We spent a lot of time standing in lines. On the first night, we could not get a meal. We stood in 3 different lines and when it was finally our turn, we were offered a table in 2 hours or a table in 2 DAYS (seriously!). Almost every activity that we tried was a disappointment: the hot tub was not hot; we finally got a turn at the ping pong table but there were no balls; we went to a health seminar which was a sales pitch for shoe inserts; the vegetable carving demonstration was held next to a deck that had just been varnished - it smelled so strong that we could not stay. This ship was a floating QVC. There were seminars on how to shop! And if that didn't numb your mind, there were game show venues, e.g. Passenger Feud (ie, Family Feud). My constant thought was "I can't wait for this to be over". Spend your time and your money elsewhere!
