After reading all of the reviews about the Sunshine, I was apprehensive about this ship. Also, going during the holiday, I was concerned about having a full ship. I promised myself good or bad, I would review the ship. So, her goes:

We traveled with 3 other families with children for a Thanksgiving cruise. We used Park Port Canaveral for parking at Port Canaveral. We've used this lot before and have been very pleased. As soon as we unloaded our cars, the bus was ready to take us to the terminal. We arrived at the terminal before boarding had started. The lines weren't too long and it moved quickly. We had to wait for around 30-45 minutes before getting on the ship. Once we boarded, everyone headed to the Lido deck for food and sun. We took our youngest to check out kids club for a brief tour, then my wife visited the spa and was offered a free seaweed wrap. We had 2 rooms on the 8th floor (8256/8258). Both were balcony rooms and, though not huge, we felt like there was plenty of room. Families with older children may have felt more cozy.

The ship left and the trip got exciting. The captain announced we were experiencing 60mph winds and 20-30 foot waves. Needless to say, the boat was rocking and many people were getting sick. When we went to bed that night, besides the rocking, you could hear everything above us. We were directly below the Lido deck and you could hear chairs being rearranged and other activities all night.

Nice room, beds with couch. Bathroom small, but not uncomfortable. Biggest issue was the noise at night on the Lido deck. Every night I heard workers rearranging the chairs and cleaning the deck.
