We always loved strolling around the Promenade after dinner. Unfortunately, that pleasure is no longer afforded on the new Regal Princess. What a HUGE disappointment. Not only that, the Inside walkways of the so called “Promenade Deck” were very dark and gloomy because the few windows that are there have obstructed views and most of the windows always had the screens drawn over them.

Also, this ship has no center stairway. On several occasions, just before our dinner seating time, the elevators would not stop on our deck because they were already at full capacity from the upper decks. On other ships we could just walk down the stairs for a few decks. But with no stairway, we had to take the elevator up to deck 16 and then take the elevator back down to deck 6 for dinner.

On the plus side - The Piazza on the Regal Princess is very impressive. It seems almost twice as large as the previous class of Princess Ships. The theater is awesome as were the production shows we saw. The theater on the Regal Princess is a true rival to any metropolitan venue.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BB

The bathroom shower in the Regal Princess Cabin is a bit larger and that is an improvement. However, the balcony seems smaller which is disappointing. There are more outlets for i pad and camera chargers which is great.
