I've been on two other Celebrity Cruises, both on Solstice-class ships. Had wonderful experiences on these prior two cruises. Unfortunately, Celebrity's brand has been tarnished by having the cruising public being exposed to the Millennium.

We had a Sky Suite with an enormous balcony that was not usable due to the stench of sewage. While we did not have this stench in our suite, we could smell this sewage smell in various places in the ship. Check out other reviews, and one will verify that this was not an isolated problem. Repeated requests for a fix were met with indifference until I complained to corporate. While Celebrity never fixed the problem, they did offer compensation. Oh, by the way, did I mention that on occasion, the toilets would not flush?

But this was not the only problem with this ship. Walking around in our suite, step in certain places and the floor creaks so badly that one fears waking a sleeping spouse. Walking through the main hallways, one can step in certain places and feel an "dip" in the floor. Boy, this ship is old. I bet Celebrity has plans to take it out of service ASAP and not further expose its brand to negative perceptions.
